Spotlight: Scott Gilmore

An account person worth his salt should know his way around the back nine as well as the boardroom, no? Scott Gilmore, West Virginia Amateur Golf Champion in 1984 and 1990, is also equally avid about marketing strategy now as then.
Today, however, Scott is Vice President and Director of Account Management at LKM. In addition to overseeing strategy for the State of North Carolina’s Division of Travel and Tourism, Scott directs the deployment of the agency’s account service team on behalf of all clients. In addition, Scott has a unique expertise in leveraging maximum value out of special events including sales meetings, channel communications, campaign introductions and the like.
Though too extensive to detail here, Scott’s experience features significant tenure with national accounts like Georgia-Pacific, the State of Florida, Ames Lawn and Garden, Borg-Warner and General Electric.
A graduate of the University of Alabama, Scott also attended Davidson College.
