Spotlight: Stacey Pullen

Is life black and white? Or is it revealed in halftones?
Stacey began her career in advertising as a photographer. Ten years and ten thousand shutter clicks later, as she puts it, “I was tired of seeing things in shades of grey. I required a little contrast.”
Back to school. Back to the black and white of assets and liabilities and a Business Degree in Accounting and the world of line items balance sheets. The it was two solid years of preparing tax returns (too dry) followed by seven more in the kinetic environment – (for numbers people) – of Wachovia Securities.
In 2002, deciding once again that grey was where it was at after all, Stacey arrived at LKM. “Now I can satisfy my need for structure and provide financial stewardship and fiscal responsibility for our clients while feeling like I’m making a contribution to the creative process.” That’s Stacey, in black and white.
Family:
Husband Tom is a painter (canvasses, not homes) and stay-at-home dad. Daughter Julie, a Junior in high school, has a passion for creative writing. Son Jason, a fourth grader, is a lover of the natural environment and is determined “not to eat anything with a face.”
Passions:
With a photographer’s eye, Stacey is a lover of people and she has a strong interest in cultural anthropology. She also digs music.
